As a registered non-profit society, the VJLS-JH, from its founding, has been supported and sustained by volunteer members of the community. This 100 year tradition of community contribution and spirit by our innumerable supporters and students over the years has carried the school through times of hardship and struggle to the more prosperous times of the present.
As a community institution, volunteer support and fundraising throughout the year are critical to maintaining healthy school operations and to be able to invest in the future. Numerous volunteers and parents come together and volunteer at annual fundraising events, for operational maintenance and teaching assistance.
