Kodomo no Kuni

 
Welcome to Kodomo no Kuni (or Children's World), the VJLS-JH's early childhood education program for children aged 3~6 years old. This very popular program is designed to nurture the young child’s individuality in a creative, playful and socially-interactive way. All the while, the children are unconsciously exposed to a Japanese-speaking environment, naturally pick-up the language, and make loads of friends at the same time.

There are two sessions: one in the morning (9~12) and in the afternoon (1~4)

What makes our program so special is our:

• Fantastic facilities where we have plenty of classroom space, access to a gym and library with Japanese children's books, and an outdoor custom-designed playground, where the children can play in a safe, fun and outdoor environment.
• Our BC-licensed teaching staff who are committed to providing a safe, fun, and creative environment for Japanese learning and early childhood development and who really care about the kids
• A curriculum designed to be fun-filled and creative, but also teaches responsibility and respect for others
• And as part of the VJLS-JH, the entire family & children, parents, siblings, and extended family- together can actively participate in Japanese cultural events and arts programs offered at the school Our Friendship Album
